Dominick's passion for mechanics started at a young age when his chain fell off his bike. Since then, he's always been interested in how things work. This led him to Tampa Bay Technical Highschool, where he studied automotive for 3 years. During Dominick's Senior year, the instructor of the diesel program informed him of a job opportunity working for a European Auto Repair Shop. To be able to jump head-first, and to focus on gaining experience, he finished his last semester of Highschool at the Leto Adult Program. Not long after, Dominick left the independent shop for a position on the Quicklane at Elder Ford of Tampa. While he was there, Dominick moved his way to a line tech through an apprenticeship under a transmission repair specialist. There, he learned the ins and outs of the Automotive industry, and he noticed where it could be improved. In 2017, Dominick started Dominick’s Mobile Auto Repair to improve the customer experience, eliminating the inconvenience of waiting in a lobby or dropping your vehicle off.
